As Croydon Community Action Guardians (CCAG) continues to evolve, we want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank one of our founding members, Daniyel Thomas — known to many as Bro Xtra — for the role he played in our journey.
Daniyel was a valued part of the CCAG team during the early stages of our work. He helped shape and stand up the initial school-time patrols, supporting the training and coordination of volunteers. These efforts were a crucial part of a wider, collaborative mission driven by a dedicated collective of local residents working together for the good of our community.
As of February 2025, Daniyel and his organisation Man in Action are no longer affiliated with CCAG. While we are entering new phases of development, we are grateful for the time, passion and input he offered as a member of the CCAG team.
We wish Daniyel all the very best as he continues his work through Man in Action and other projects. We remain focused on the future of CCAG — expanding our Community School-Time Patrols, deepening our impact, and continuing to build something that reflects the strength and unity of our community.
