Welcoming Teresa Gimenes as Our New Director

We’re excited to officially welcome Teresa Gimenes as a new Director of Croydon Community Action Guardians (CCAG).

Teresa has been an integral part of CCAG’s journey from the very beginning. She played a leading role in launching and shaping our marketing and social media presence, helping to amplify our mission and build trust with the wider community. Her creativity, clarity of vision, and commitment to community safety have already left a lasting mark.

With a strong background in community engagement and youth work, Teresa is a dedicated volunteer at the Legacy Youth Zone and has long been active across a range of local initiatives. Her passion for empowering young people and creating safer spaces in Croydon aligns perfectly with CCAG’s core mission.

As Director, Teresa will help lead CCAG into its next chapter, overseeing the relaunch of our school-time patrols, expanding our volunteer and safeguarding infrastructure, and helping to strengthen strategic partnerships and local collaboration.

Teresa’s appointment comes at an exciting time for CCAG, following the news that we have secured £20,000 in funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to support the development and expansion of our work.

We are confident that under Teresa’s leadership, CCAG will continue to grow into a powerful force for community safety, youth empowerment, and local pride.

Please join us in congratulating Teresa on her new role — we’re grateful to have her at the helm and excited for what lies ahead.
